Summary

The Assistant Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. He/she implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager performs the duties of staff nurse as needed to support the nursing team.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.

Preferred: BSN

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of two years recent experience in Endoscopy. Previous charge experience preferred.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida. BCLS and ACLS certification

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred member of SGNA
