Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, including material handling, inventory management, and logistics. The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials and products to ensure timely delivery and accurate inventory control.

Shift: 2nd (will be working 4 10's Mon-Thur)

2:00pm - 12:30am

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders.
• Unload materials from trucks and transport them to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Store materials in proper locations according to inventory management procedures.
• Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
• Pick materials and products from inventory according to production or order requirements.
• Pack and prepare materials for shipping, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation.
• Load outgoing shipments onto trucks for delivery to customers or other facilities.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or material handling.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
