The Structural Engineer will be working with in-house Development, Architecture, and Construction teams to provide Structural Design and Quality Assurance on industrial (distribution, manufacturing, food and beverage, and cold storage) projects for our nationwide clients.

Required
- As an entry level structural engineer, you will be responsible for performing structural engineering design and analysis under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis
- Master’s with Structural emphasis preferred
- PE and/or SE license desirable but not required
- Team oriented attitude is a must
- Resilient and adaptable to design changes

- This position is based in Birmingham, AL
- Our clients and projects are nationwide – so some travel will be required
- No other builder can offer the collaborative design-build approach that Clayco is known for and expects
- 3-D CAD experience is a plus
