Work you’ll do:

The Cyber Defense Trainer will serve as the Cybersecurity Curriculum Developer/Instructor and will design and develop training objectives, guides, job aids, course outlines and other course material utilizing instructional design models. 

“This position will be located on-site in Colorado Springs, CO."

Qualifications 

Required: 

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Must have or willing to obtain IAT III Certification (such as CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH) within 30 days. 
• 3 years of experience with instructor-led training (ILT), training and development, web-based training and training content and delivery.
• 3 years of experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS (Elastic Stack, Splunk, HBSS, or equivalent)

 Preferred:

• 1 years of prior professional services or federal consulting experience
• 1 years’ experience with Windows and Linux command line, networking, traffic analysis and MITRE ATT&CK framework
• 1 years’ experience working on a cybersecurity team, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Cyber Protection Team (CPT) or Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP).

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,663.00 to $179,438.00.
