Deloitte US is Hiring an US E - Consulting - Project Delivery Senior Analyst - Data Engineer - S&A-AI & Data Operations - PDM- Path B Near Atlanta, GA

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities  

  • Create end-to-end data pipelines that efficiently collect, transform, and load data from various sources to your designated destinations.
  • Take transition from Client SMEs, design, development, and implementation of complex data pipelines and ETL processes, leveraging advanced Python programming skills to handle large datasets effectively.
  • Seeing through deliverable from development to finished product.
  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

As a part of the US Strategy & Analytics Offering Portfolio, the AI & Data offering provides managed AI, Intelligent Automation, and Data DevOps services across the advise-implement-operate spectrum.

Qualifications

Required

  • 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing data pipelines
  • 4 years of experience with Azure services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Bricks, Python, PySpark, SQL (including Stored Procedures), Informatica Power Center (Sessions, designer, workflows) and other related tools
  • Proficient in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable large volume pipelines to support the processing of structured and semi-structured data.
  • Proficient with a cloud-based data solutions and services (Azure Preferred)
  • Exemplary skills in SQL, proficiently handling complex data manipulation tasks
  • Experienced with architecting and developing data platforms that empower efficient data storage, processing, and retrieval, contributing to the organization's data-driven growth.
  • Experience in software development, encompassing proficiency in writing and maintaining code for data engineering platforms.
  • Experience in maturing the platform and developing exemplary code base.
  • Proficient with optimizing processes involving large data
  • Possess experience with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and storage systems.
  • Intermediate experience in data pipelines designs and processing logic, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and adherence to quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Understanding in designing and implementing data solutions involving real-time streaming technologies, such as Apache Kafka and Azure Event Hubs, ensuring seamless integration of streaming data into our processing pipelines.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment

Preferred

  • Experienced with API development (preferred)
  • Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing and implementing data pipelines
  • Experienced with DevOps, Agile methodologies, CI/CD tools/processes and knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Health Care Industry knowledge
  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
