Work You’ll Do

As aManager, you will lead and deliver small engagements, or components of large, complex engagements thatidentify,designand implement creative business and technology solutions for Power, Utilities & Renewables clients. Typical engagements include process improvement, operating model design, competitor benchmarking, cost transformation, customer and product innovation, and growth strategy development. Using a combination of direct management and hands-on delivery, you will craft solutions for clients, guide and oversee the quality of your team’s deliverables and recommendations and manage day-to-day stakeholder relationships. Managers will contribute to Deloitte’s thought leadership, play a significant role in business development activities,andown responsibility for the development of junior staff. 

Successful candidates willaccomplishtheseobjectivesby:

• Providing service excellence byidentifyingkey client business issues,determiningclient needs,evaluatingandvalidatinganalysis and developing recommendations for clients.
• Overseeing the quality of deliverables through effectively managing teams and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
• Identifyingkey client business issues,determiningclient needs by supplementing standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches,evaluatingandvalidatinganalyses and developing recommendations within the context of the overall engagement.
• Leading functional and technical workshops, developing functional requirements, liaising with program sponsorsregardingprocess readiness and risks, and collaborating with teams and vendors to help clients transform and converge legacy processes.
• Developing and fostering relationshipswith clients andestablishingcredibilitya trusted advisor tobring AMIindustry domainexpertiseto a variety of projects.
• Demonstrating an understanding of Utility industryandup-to-dateknowledgeon industry/sector trends.
• Participatingin the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree 
• 6 years’ experienceworkingwith Utilitiesclients or experience working within the Utilitiessector
• 4 years’ experience with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) 
• GridEdge (Edge Computing) and Distributed Energy Resources (DER) knowledge
• Experiencewith at least one ofthe following areas:
• Business Case Development
• Capability-drive transformation
• Operating Model Transformation
• Strategic Planning
• Scenario Planning
• Market Research
• Strategy and Visioning
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors youserve

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $167,325 to $278,875,
