Work you’ll do

As a Consultant in Legal Business Services, you will work with a team of experienced professionals supporting corporate legal departments and/or other related functions. You will contribute directly to delivering first class services to our clients, and your support of the engagement lifecycle will include solution design and service delivery.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Support key portions of client engagements while reporting to project leadership
  • Support development of high-quality client deliverables and executive-level presentations under tight deadlines
  • Support client interviews and information gathering
  • Analyze and document processes and workflows
  • Conduct detailed analyses to draw conclusions and develop insightful recommendations
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with client stakeholders
  • Develop materials to support pursuits, marketing efforts, and proofs of concept

The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor and excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to streamline information concisely and clearly. They will be an agile professional, with strong core consulting skills and the willingness to challenge the status quo. Lastly, they will work well in an ambiguous environment and team with others to proactively identify opportunities for process and technical improvements. 

Qualifications

  • 2 years professional work experience
  • Experience creating impactful PowerPoint presentations for executive level clients and stakeholders
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas; contract lifecycle management, legal operations, information governance, records management
  • Hands on experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to travel 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Bachelor’s degree required

 Preferred

  • Prior consulting experience
  • Experience with CLM technology such as Icertis, Kira Systems, DocuSign, Sirion Labs, Exari and Conga
  • Experience identifying opportunities to improve processes and developing implementation plans

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Nevada and New York State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Nevada, New York State, and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,398 to $121,750. 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
