What you’ll achieve

As an Advisor, Data Engineering, you will analyze business requirements/processes and system integration points to determine appropriate technology solutions. You will design and document applications based on system and user requirements.

You will:

• Build high reliability, high quality, high volume batch, micro batch and streaming data pipelines
• Build collaborative relationship with the stakeholders, both business and Digital that leverages co-development, fail fast and joint governance to maximize the investment and use of data.
• Produce data products and solutions to enable data consumers to leverage a “low touch IT” and best value model
• Leverage and accelerate Data Delivery Express, automated pipeline generation, continuous integration/continuous deployment, data virtualization solutions, SaaS APIs.

Essential Requirements

• Strong Teradata, Informatica, SQL (DDL, DML, procedural) skills and excellent knowledge in scheduling tools like Control-M
• Understand Development and Testing processes and design, develop, and maintain Python scripts to support business processes
• Teradata & Greenplum as Warehouse Database and Very strong in SQL / Macros and Should know Medium UNIX Commands, Control-M scheduling tool
• Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Computer Applications with a minimum Development hands-on experience of 5 to 7 years
• Relevant IT experience in Data-Warehousing Technologies and Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable Requirements

• Experience using streamsets ,TDAM, GPSS and Kafka
• Experience working in Agile Methodology
