Delicato Family Wines is Hiring a Security Guard (Part-Time 16 hours) Near Stockton, CA
- Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure
- Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities
- Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors and vehicles according to protocols .
- Logging in and out trucks, sending them to their docks and checking their seals on their way out
- 7 point inspection on trucks
- Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities
- Providing detailed reports to management on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred
- Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner
- Calls police or fire departments in case of emergency, such as a fire or presence of unauthorized persons
- Performing CPR or first aid when needed
- Other duties may be assigned

- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience as a security guard
- 18 years of age or older
- A valid security guard card is required
- Must be able to remain calm and rational in emergencies.
- Must exhibit excellent communication skill

- Ability to work independently
- General office and winery working condition
- Required to drive automatic vehicle or equipment frequently
- Indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to the elements/temperature variations
- Exposure to weather-related temperature & humidity extremes
- Extended Hours
- Shift Rotation
- Required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Exposure to varying levels of dust, chemicals, fumes, gases, and noisy equipment
- Occasionally may be required to lift and carry cases of wine
- May need to determine color, taste and smell of wine using eyes, tongue, and nose
