Summary of Position:
The Installation Specialist works closely and assist in moving various sized pieces of furniture from DeLeon’s warehouse to vehicles to installing pieces of furniture throughout our properties. This individual will work closely with the Staging Designers and Assistant Staging Designers. This individual will report to the Staging Manager.
Essential Job functions:

• Preparing and completing orders for a stage according to designer’s instructions.
• Loading, packing and wrapping furniture and fragile pieces such as artwork and accessories.
• Packing trucks with staging items: fragile items and moving them without damage.
• Warehouse maintenance of inventory.
• Occasionally with Field Coordination work: yard work, painting, cleaning interiors, windows, floors, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have experience as a mover and packer; loading and packing furniture, artwork accessories on and off trucks and into and out of homes according to instructions.
• Attention to detail and patience.
• Must be available to work over time.
• Must have good organizational and time management skills.
• Must speak English, have a current valid driver’s license or ID, cell phone.

Physical Requirements:

• Constant activity: walking, standing, bending, climbing twisting and squatting daily.
• Frequent activity: use of hands, either grasping, pushing pulling
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs on a daily basis

Starting salary: $22-25/hour w/ benefits and 401k matching
