The Mason Tender position is an hourly (non-exempt) role. The starting rate is posted at $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on your experience level. In addition to the base rate, travel pay, daily per diem for overnight travel, and overnight accommodation as needed is included.

A day in the life of a Mason Tender

Mason Tenders assist the masonry crew with project set up, materials management, prepping a variety of materials, keeping jobsites, trailers, tools, and other materials organized and clean. Mason Tenders will also help Masons, Masonry Crew Lead, and others on the jobsite as needed to complete projects.

What is required to be a start Mason Tender?

• Basic knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved with masonry, and the ability to work safely with all types of hand and power tools.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.
• Must be able to travel out-of-town for various job projects and stay overnight when required.
• Hold or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment.
• Walk, prolonged standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
• Use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
