Minimum Qualifications:

• Must hold or be eligible for State of Delaware Secondary World Language certification
• Experience in teaching AP and/or IB classes preferred
• Clean Criminal Background Check, TB Test/Physical, and Child Protection Registry Clearance must be completed prior to start of employment

Primary Duties:

• Applicants must demonstrate proficiency and experience in the following:
  • Maintains appropriate discipline to achieve maximum student learning and safety
  • Provides effective instruction of students in order to maximize their learning
  • Motivates students to work to attain their potential as a learner and an individual
  • Exhibits knowledge of Delaware's Core Content area Standards
  • Assists in the continuous evaluation, development, and improvement of student educational learning as prescribed by district curriculum
  • Participates in professional development, which targets improved classroom instruction
  • Other related duties as may be required
