Delaware Nation Industries is Hiring a Computer Technician Near Virginia, VA

Delaware Nation Industries is looking for a new IT Trainer to support our upcoming SITEC 3 EOM contract. The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract SITEC 3 EOM Program is to provide USSOCOM with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain uninterrupted IT functionality across the globe. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and responds to technical hardware and software problems utilizing hardware and software testing, tools and techniques.
  • Interfaces with various support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
  • Assists with installation of workstations and associated hardware.
  • Applies basic knowledge of PC/LAN communications hardware/software in a multi-protocol environment.
  • Logs, validates and diagnoses customer issues, on the full range of products.
  • Provides the customer with a solution through information gathering, analytical trouble shooting and problem research, or escalates the ticket to the appropriate resolution group.
  • Escalates calls to agreed service levels.
  • Installs, configures and maintains desktop and laptop PCs and peripherals such as printers
  • Installs and configures application and operating system software and upgrades
  • Troubleshoots and repairs hardware and network connectivity issues
  • Removes old equipment and performs data migration to new machines

Qualifications:

  • Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Security or equivalent certification
  • Bachelor degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 Years of Experience

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
