Individual is responsible for performing skilled work in assigned area(s) (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) requiring special licenses and/or certification. Individual receives direction from Lead Maintenance Specialist. Individual may be assigned to assist in coordination of installation, maintenance, and repair work in their occupational specialty and to perform general trade and maintenance activities as a worker. Individual reports to Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.
High School diploma or GED plus five (5) years of experience and/or technical training in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, landscape, and/or other skilled trade including professional level experience in building trades and/or facilities maintenance.
Individual must possess an Ohio EPA Type I and II or Universal HVAC Certification and/or Professional Certification and/or Trade License in HVAC, Electrical, and/or Plumbing.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Must meet and maintain qualifications for driving on county business as a continued condition of employment.
All required licenses and certificates must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
