Individual is an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney, responsible for prosecution of felony criminal offenses or unruly and delinquent acts by juveniles, traffic offenses by juveniles, and certain adult offenses falling within the jurisdiction of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division. Individual is responsible for cases from initial case review, through negotiation, trial, and post-hearing stages. Physical presence is necessary in the office. Regular, predictable and prompt attendance is needed. Assistant Prosecuting Attorneys represent the Prosecuting Attorney and the State of Ohio in court, in the community, to law enforcement, to victims, to witnesses, and to the general public. One or more years of attorney experience in a prosecutor’s office is required, as well as excellent research and writing skills. Must ALREADY be licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio.
