Delaware Agricultural Museum and Village is Hiring an Education Specialist Near Dover, DE

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Education Specialist to join our team. The Education Specialist will be responsible for creating agricultural related education curriculum and implementing educational programs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to promote learning and skill development
-Develop and implement educational curriculum as it relates to the Delaware Agricultural Museum & Village
- Reach out to our volunteers to fill educational program roles
- Manage museum memberships

Experience:
- Previous experience creating agriculture curriculum is preferred
- Experience in mentoring or tutoring children is a plus
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices

-Knowledge of the agricultural industry is required

Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience and empathy when working with individuals with diverse needs
- Organizational skills to effectively plan and implement educational programs

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
