Delano Association for the Developmentally Disabled is Hiring a Transportation Manager Near Delano, CA

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Transport Manager to oversee our transportation operations. The Transport Manager will be responsible for managing a team of drivers, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of special needs passengers.

Duties:
- Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage a team of drivers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Coordinate with suppliers, client/home, and internal departments to schedule pick up and delivery
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards
- Monitor fleet maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime
- Track and analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement
- Resolve any issues or delays in transportation operations in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Transport Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficient in using transportation management software
- Familiarity with route planning and optimization techniques
- Experience in managing a fleet of vehicles
