Del Rio Dentistry is Hiring a General Dentist Near Del Rio, TX

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to purchase our dental practice. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients. You will diagnose and treat various dental conditions and help patients maintain their oral health. The ideal candidate is dedicated to patient care, possesses excellent communication skills, and is committed to staying updated on the latest advancements in dentistry.

Duties:

- Perform dental examinations and assessments of patients' oral health

- Diagnose dental conditions and develop treatment plans

- Administer local anesthetics and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care

- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive dental care

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems (e.g., Epic)

- Utilize medical imaging technology (e.g., CAD) to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning

- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures

- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and ensure their comfort and safety

- Stay informed about advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development

Skills:

- Proficiency in dental systems and software for medical documentation (e.g., Epic)

- Experience with medical imaging technology (e.g., CAD)

- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic technique

- Ability to accurately maintain patient records and documentation (e.g., medical records)

- Excellent patient assessment skills, including the ability to evaluate oral health conditions

- Familiarity with taking vital signs and monitoring patient comfort during procedures
