Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control inspections on products to ensure they meet established standards and specifications
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify product dimensions and tolerances
- Conduct quality audits to identify any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards
- Analyze inspection data and generate reports on product quality and performance
- Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Follow established quality management procedures and protocols to maintain consistency and accuracy in inspections
- Fabricate test samples or prototypes for evaluation purposes
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments for accurate measurements
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends or patterns
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes and procedures
- Detail-oriented with excellent attention to accuracy and precision
- Strong problem-solving skills to address quality issues effectively
