Del Amo Motorsports - San Diego is Hiring a Parts Counter Salesperson Near Chula Vista, CA

Del Amo Motorsports Group is looking to hire a Parts and Apparel Salesperson at our Chula Vista location.

This is a hourly ($16.00/hour) full-time position plus commission with an average pay range between $40,000 to $50,000 a year. Pay range scale can fluctuate based on the individual’s sales experience.

We offer full benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Paid Vacation, Sick Time, Paid Holidays, Matching 401K, Demo Days and Work Outings.

Store hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10:00am-7pm; Sunday & Monday we’re gone riding.

Schedule is 10:00am-7:00pm, Tuesday to Saturday with Sunday’s and Monday’s off with a minimum requirement of 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. Must be available to work weekends and possibly certain Holidays.

You are a great fit if you can:

  • Greet and assist all customers inquiries with phenomenal customer service and product knowledge while providing additional add-on suggestions.
  • Perform functions on company program such as building invoices, cashier, locating parts, searching parts, and utilize as a follow-up tool.
  • Ensure estimated time of arrival on all pending orders and ensure consistent follow up with all customers.
  • Maintain brand of department parts floor and specified assigned section. (clean, price label, remerchandise overstock inventory to sales floor to promote overall brand).
  • Provide a seamless experience and transition from after time of sale for every customer.
  • Attain a minimum monthly sales target of $35,000 plus per month.

Other requirements and Skills:

  • Bilingual preferred in English and Spanish.
  • Ensure up to date with product knowledge by completing provided O.E.M. and product training.
  • Previous experience in Motorsports Parts Sales preferred.
  • Review and complete daily checklist.
  • Assist with returns, exchanges and assist where needed in department.
  • Prepare station with all necessary parts catalogues and manuals for overall call efficiency.
  • Process warranty claims on product.
  • Assist parts counter with S.O. pickups.

Physical Demands:

  • Position predominantly entails walking or standing for hours at a time.
  • Other physical demands pertain to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or kneeling at times.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Vision required: close, distant, color, depth perception and ability to refocus vision.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer computer literacy
  • Prefer interest or experience in sales and Powersports industry
  • Solid communication skills.
