Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role as a Structural Engineer at DEKAT Engineering LLC. Our office is located in Englewood, CO. Minimum 3 days in the office is required for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural analysis and calculations for residential/commercial projects, including new construction, renovations, and additions.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and specifications.
• Lead and train young engineers.
• Collaborate with architects and other design professionals to develop structural solutions that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
• Perform site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and identify potential issues.
• Review and analyze construction documents, including architectural plans and engineering reports.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the design and construction phases.
• Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to address structural concerns and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in structural engineering and design practices.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in structural engineering, including analysis and design of buildings and infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Compensation

DEKAT Engineering LLC offers a competitive salary package ($100,000 to $115,000 depending on experience) and comprehensive benefits, including healthcare coverage, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
