Luxury Home Builders Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Site Superintendent. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Site Superintendent in overseeing the construction of luxury homes from start to finish, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Site Superintendent in managing and overseeing the construction of luxury home projects from start to finish.
2. Spend 80-90% of your time working in the field, ensuring the proper execution of construction tasks and providing on-site support to the construction team.
3. Monitor construction progress and work quality, ensuring that all tasks are completed per project specifications and in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
4. Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of construction activities and timely completion of tasks.
5. Assist in managing the construction schedule, identifying potential delays, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
6. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out correctly and safely, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
7. Collaborate with the Site Superintendent in preparing and submitting project progress reports and other required documentation to stakeholders.
8. Assist in the training and development of construction team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
9. Work under the guidance of the Site Superintendent, for a 6-month training period to develop the skills and knowledge required for this position.
10.  A large majority of time spent in this role will be hands-on work in the field alongside the individuals you will be managing.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the residential construction industry, preferably in a supervisory role.
2. Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and processes, with a focus on luxury home building.
3. Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team of construction professionals.
5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
6. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans and specifications.
7. Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant technology tools.
8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as travel to and from various job sites will be required.
