EOS Hospitality is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support the marketing efforts for a portfolio of independent hotels, restaurants, event spaces, and outlets in the Florida Keys. This role will be responsible for executing and supporting the development of special events, promotions, public relations, and other marketing initiatives related to the group.
The position will report to the Regional Director of Marketing and assist the Area Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with Operations, Revenue Management, Sales, and Corporate Marketing teams to develop campaigns and communications that are aligned with the hotel’s business goals. The ideal candidate will be an impeccable communicator as they will work frequently with remote colleagues.

What you will do:

• Coordinate and help implement event/activation planning for the hotels that that need assistance
• Assist in marketing efforts and plan for activations and events at hotels through social, newspapers, eblasts and website listings
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand priorities for each hotel (sales, social media, eCommerce, PR, operations)
• Communicate and coordinate with the internal Marketing staff to understand business/marketing objectives and ensure deadlines are met
• Assist in the development of advertising material, including printing & delivering as needed – liaison between Ethan hotel teams
• Assist in creating, proofreading, and editing copy and creative for various marketing channels, ensuring consistency throughout
• Assist in maintaining internal marketing materials such as brochures, signs, posters, and marquees
• Manage advertising and collateral development to promote events throughout the properties
• Update websites, property listings and OTAs
• Support team during on-property events and photoshoots
• Work with Social Media Agencies by providing ideas for monthly posts with a 90 day outline, approving monthly calendar of postings, attend monthly calls
• Complete Administrative tasks to support the overall marketing operation
• Complete month-end reporting as requested by Regional
• Effectively communicate to other team members marketing promotions and event details; keep team members and guests informed of any changes as they occur
• Participate in promotions meetings, attend requested onsite meetings by hotel teams, brainstorming on new promotions, taking meeting minutes, and acting as liaison with other departments to distribute minutes, complete collateral, and other promotional materials
• Be familiar with all Hotel and Restaurant services and features as well as local attractions
• Keep Photo libraries up to date for all hotels and restaurants
• Update Photos needed for Synexis
• Assist with research and special projects as needed
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

• Great verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and all other Microsoft programs
• A firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
