POSITION SUMMARY

The Corporate Facilities Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Test Kitchen, Quality Assurance Lab, Break Rooms, and other areas of the CKE Restaurant Support Center. Provides back-up support to the Facilities Specialist and Receptionist as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

May perform any or all of the following duties:

▪ Properly cleans and sanitizes all food preparation areas according to established standards and procedures.

▪ Washes and appropriately stores all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards, and dishes.

▪ Sweeps and mops the kitchen floors as well as wiping down kitchen walls. Vacuums carpets as needed.

▪ Assists with the unloading of delivered food supplies and organizes and correctly stores supplies. Receives, stores, and restocks breakroom supplies and foods.

▪ Cleans and sanitizes non-standard work surfaces including the break room tables, chairs, beverage bar counter, microwaves, popcorn maker, and other miscellaneous appliances. 

▪ Cleans and organizes meeting rooms after use.

▪ Assists the Facilities Specialist with minor maintenance and minor repairs. 

▪ Collects and distributes mail as needed.

▪ Performs various other cleaning and organizational duties as required including walls, windows, light fixtures, and other interior features.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES

▪ Prior janitorial or restaurant cleaning experience highly preferred. 

▪ Conversant fluency in English with the ability to read/write at the same level.

▪ Ability to stand for extended periods.

▪ Ability to work in a team.

▪ Ability to learn and practice food health and safety regulations. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

▪ Corporate Office fast paced, high volume of activity and a deadline driven environment.

▪ Shipping and receiving and outside elements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

▪ Must be able to stand, stoop, push, lift, crouch; bend body (downward and forward by bending legs and spine) and move spine at the waist in a slight twist.

▪ Must be able to mix chemical cleaning solutions in proper proportions.

▪ Must be able to lift paper and food containers (weighing up to 50lbs) from floor to table level and distribute them to various departments (10% of the time).

▪ Will occasionally receive outside shipments.
