Deerwood Country Club is seeking a Server to work the Wednesday through Sunday lunch shift, to provide timely and courteous service while creating an exceptional experience for our Members and Guests. Our servers are responsible for providing food and beverage service to Members and Guests while consistently maintaining a positive attitude and displaying full knowledge of our food and beverage menu. Works closely and coordinates with other team members to ensure Member/Guest satisfaction.

Skills/Responsibilities:

• Provide full dining service from a warm welcome through a fond farewell.
• Take food and drink orders, delivering prompt, professional, service.
• Uphold the highest level of customer service.
• Communicate effectively to members on menu selections and specials.
• Learn the names of members and greet them with a warm welcome.
• Record orders accurately into the point of sale system.
• Charge member accounts or guests for food and drinks served.
• Ensure responsible serving of alcohol is practiced.
• Present a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
• Be informed and answer questions regarding Deerwood Country Club.
• Perform side work as assigned.
• Follow health and safety practices at all times.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Friendly and outgoing personality who enjoys meeting & serving people.
• Two plus years prior restaurant experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid food handler’s certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to operate a POS system.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Ability to reach, bend, and stoop.
