Job Summary: Deerwood Country Club's Beverage Cart Attendants are responsible for providing food and beverages to our members and guests on our beautiful golf course. The schedules for this position are Tuesday, Friday & Saturday from 7 am to 6 pm and Tuesday, Friday & Saturday from 12 pm to 8 pm and may be required on Mondays for a special event. Hourly rate plus gratuities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Arrives on time, well-groomed, and dressed in full uniform including name tag.
• Drives the beverage cart in a safe and cautious manner.
• Approaches members, guests, and co-workers in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Displays a professional and welcoming demeanor at all times.
• Makes sure Pro Shop desk has their cell phone number.
• Is prepared for the weather and its fluctuations and follows proper procedures for bad weather conditions.
• Has knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
• Performs daily opening inventory.
• Confirms cart is fully operational at beginning of shift including gas, air, oil, etc.
• Maintains an inventory sheet that reflects daily sales. Inventory sheets must be dated, signed, and turned in with closing paperwork.
• Ensures the chits are closed to the correct member.
• Checks expiration dates on food and beverage products in beverage cart storeroom. Rotates and organizes products and informs management when inventory is below par levels.
• Hoses down the cart at the end of the shift.
• Performs closing inventory at the end of the shift and restocks when needed.
• Serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with Florida Law.
• Keeps beer coolers and snack boxes clean and organized.
• Follows all Safety guidelines.
• Always checks with the F&B Director or MOD before clocking out.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender or server preferred
• Positive, friendly, and outgoing personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of golf course etiquette
• Valid driver’s license
• Available to work holidays and important member functions when required
