Collaborate with team members to create and adapt developmentally-appropriate social-emotional, play and learning experiences for students who are three to five years old with a wide-range of communication, cognitive, social-emotional and physical abilities. Develop and nurture positive relationships with students, family members, and staff.Establish classroom routines and expectations and support positive interactions within a community of young learners.Teach/model effective strategies and strategy differentiation with staff through an on-going coaching model and serve as an active member on an interdisciplinary consultation team.Encourage students to express themselves creatively across learning objectives, materials, and peer groups.Provide screening, progress monitoring, and dynamic instructional opportunities based on the students’ development, interests, and feedback. Perform special education evaluations, development of IEP and other student support plans, and serve as a lead at team meetings.Communicates regularly with families to support social-emotional development and learning.Maintain safe and supportive learning environments for students with and without disabilities.Possess CPR/First Aid Certification and willing to become Safety-Care trained.
