PURPOSE OF POSITION : Provide an exceptional experience for our Summer Adventure Camp children aged two months to 12 years of age.

Ages 2 months - 2 years old stay on property and ages 3 years - 12 years are more active and engage in activities off property.

Create a safe and fun environment. Be a team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and lead groups of 3 to 8 children - depending on age group
• Plan, organize, and lead games and activities for children
• Activities may include swimming / water, hiking / walks, biking, riding chairlifts, off-site field trips, cooking, art, etc.

Activities are based on the age of children and are developmentally appropriate for that age

• Ensure basic needs are met including meals, bathroom, rest, safety, and social emotional well-being.
• Follow and understand all Childcare Licensing standards
• Work in fast-paced environment
• Able to follow through on projects
• Maintain a safe, and clean working environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 to apply
• Experience working with children
• Experience organizing events for children
• Submit electronic fingerprints and pass Childcare Background Screening
• Utah Food Handlers permit
• Being active outside in mountain environment for long periods of time
• Detail oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Able to lift minimum of 40 lbs. with long periods of standing, bending and twisting
