Summary of duties : Provide daily work direction to service technicians. oversee the facility. product support team and help support the branch sales team.

job performance. Oversee and direct service department activities to obtain projected volumes, profits, and goals.

• Maintain customer relations by resolving customers ’ problems / disputes through continual communication in a timely, correct manner.
• Recruit, interview, and hire qualified people to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Coaching, counseling, and training of employees.
• Manage equipment needs, i.e.; service trucks required tooling, through budgeting, capital expense requests, and accurate record keeping.
• Manage warranty work and claims to the satisfaction of customers and the company.
• Monitor all safety aspects in the performance of work, guaranteeing adherence to environmental laws, safety laws and policies, and OSHA laws.
• Provide assistance to Product Support Sales Reps (Parts and Services) as required.
• Maintain maximum department profits with expense control and efficiency to achieve acceptable profit margins.
• Respond to customers in person or by telephone whenever required.
• It may require responding after normal working hours.
• Prepare required documentation accurately and timely for company issues and customer quotes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology.
• Ability to work with computers and company computer programs.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear.
• The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls;

reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
