Dedicated Towing and Recovery is Hiring a Full Time- Tow Truck Operator Near Fort Collins, CO

Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles to designated locations. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. Duties: - Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations - Perform pre-trip inspections of the tow truck and ensure it is in proper working condition - Safely load and secure vehicles onto the tow truck using appropriate equipment such as flatbeds or wheel lifts - Drive to customer locations or accident scenes to provide towing services - Assist customers with vehicle lockouts, jump starts, and tire changes as needed - Use automotive diagnostics tools to assess vehicle issues and provide basic repairs when possible - Maintain accurate records of all services provided and complete necessary paperwork - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the tow truck - Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Commercial driving experience preferred - Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles - Knowledge of towing equipment and procedures - Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus - Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic automotive repairs - Excellent conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with customers or other drivers - Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift heavy objects when necessary Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
