Job Overview:swimming pool tech
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Technician to join our team. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing pool equipment, ensuring that pools are clean and safe for use. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on pool equipment, including pumps, filters, and heaters
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment malfunctions
- Clean and maintain pools, including vacuuming, skimming, and adding chemicals as needed
- Conduct water testing to ensure proper chemical balance
- Inspect pool areas for any safety hazards or maintenance issues
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pool Technician or similar role is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform equipment repairs
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
