Description
Dedham Veterinary Associateslocated in Dedham, MA, is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team!
Our busy 5 doctor practice offers a compassionate work environment that values fear-free techniques and encourages continued growth and team support.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
- Patient intake - including obtaining medical history and vitals and recording appropriately
- Fear-free handling techniques and comfortability with canines and felines
- Knowledge of common diseases, vaccine schedules, and preventatives
- Ability to obtain and prepare lab samples
- A compassionate demeanor and love for veterinary medicine
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of veterinary clinic experience, CVT preferred
- Ability to multi-task and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service/client communication skills
- Able to lift 40 pounds and stoop, bend, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods
- Computer literacy skills - Cornerstone experience a plus
