DESCRIPTION

Decypher is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support WRNMMC.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Take and records blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, height and weight; measures and records intake and output.

* Recognizes and responds to emergency situations according to preplanned emergency measures. Provides patient care as assigned to include documentation of nursing activities in patient's records as appropriate. Assist with the maintenance of medical records to include filing, adding demographic in formation and filing out laboratory, X ray, EKG slips.

* Prepare examination rooms prior to patient's arrival.

* Assist with patient check-ins, and transfers as directed.

* Check patient's vital signs, to include temperature, respiration, pulse, weight and blood pressure.

* Obtain and document patient's current medical history, drug history, chief complaints, allergies and vital signs on the correct form.

* Maintain examination room stock levels and perform routine maintenance of examination rooms.

* Enter demographic data into the computer upon patient check-in; enter diagnosis and departing time when patient is released.

QUALIFICATIONS

* 3 years' experience

* CNA License

* BLS
