Description
Work in an independent setting to maintain the 4 cottages on porperty used for overnight stays of guests
Requirements
- Wash, dry, and fold all hotel linens
- Make beds
- Replenish guest room supplies, to include clean towels and washcloths
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, common areas, restrooms, elevator, stairways, and exterior bathrooms
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaner
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Disinfect and deodorize in-room refrigerator and microwave
- Return dirty room service dishes and trays to restaurant
- Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork as needed
- Wash windows, door panels, and sills
- Empty wastebaskets
- Transport trash and waste to trash area behind restaurant
- Replenish bathroom supplies
- Deliver special order items to guest rooms, such as food, wine, or flowers
- Replace light bulbs as needed
- Report any damages or maintenance issues to front desk immediately
- Report guests’ items left behind and turn in to front desk immediately
- Abide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicals
- Report to work for scheduled shift on time and in uniform, in accordance with company policy
- Know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties
- Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Perform other related duties as required or requested by the GM or front desk
