• Afternoon - 2nd IMM – 1:00pm – 9:20pm*
• Afternoon - 2nd Unload – 3:00pm – 11:00pm*
• Overnight - 3rd Load Deck 8:00pm – 4:00am**
• Overnight - 3rd IMM – 9:00pm – 5:20am**
• Overnight - 3rd Unload – 11:00pm – 7:00am**

Daily mandatory overtime and additional days likely for all shifts

Job Summary

Forklift Drivers safely operate forklifts in support of various production lines and the shipping & receiving department to move raw material, WIP (Work in Process), finished goods, scrap hoppers, purchased components, and packaging material to designated staging areas.

Material Handlers are responsible for proper handling, storage, packing, preservation and delivery of both material and product per control plans utilizing documented systems.

Key Responsibilities of Forklift Drivers

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety requirements.
• Receive and load materials for shipment.
• Maintain and organize the warehouse and parts areas.
• Monitor location of parts and materials.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities.
• Strive to meet or exceed departmental performance objectives on a daily basis as directed by the Department Manager.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs and activities.
• Report any accident, injury, or near miss to the Department Manager immediately and report any unsafe work conditions in the workplace.
• Flexible to work overtime.
• Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Skills and Experience Required

• Ability to drive a forklift is required.
• Forklift license required
• Experience in shipping and receiving preferred
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated abilities to communicate with other department team members as well as the Decostar management team.

Educational Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

• This position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while sitting for up to eight (8) hours on a continuous basis.
• This position requires a person to have the ability to stand, walk or climb stairs a minimum of eight (8) hours on a continuous basis.
• This position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis and 50 pounds on an infrequent basis.
• Good vision at a close distance as well as color acuity is required.
• Must be capable of performing a full range of repetitive motion for up to eight (8) hours a day.
