Nurse Manager (Full-Time)
JOB TITLE: Nurse Manager
DEPARTMENT: Nursing Administration
HOURS/SHIFT: Full -Time/40 hours per week - Days
POSITION SUMMARY: To provide clinical and administrative leadership, foster a healthy work environment that will encourage each nurse to maximize his/her potential that will result in efficient, effective, and compassionate nursing care.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
LICENSURE/REGISTRY/CERTIFICATION: Current State of Michigan RN. BLS, ACLS, PALS and TRAUMA.
EXPERIENCE: One year in a hospital setting on a medical surgical floor preferred. ER, ICU and/or CCU experience a plus.
