Role: 1 Receiving Clerk | 1 Shipping Clerk
Weekend Shift Friday to Sunday
Job Summary:
A Shipping and Receiving Clerk will work closely between various Operational departments in the performance of a wide range of administrative and operational tasks; including the carton error and all inbound and or outbound freight. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you support the incoming or outgoing freight function by reviewing bills of ladings for unloading approval and managing documentation accordingly. As a clerk you communicate effectively with the incoming delivery drivers, receiving, or shipping associates, other departments and leadership. The Receiving and Shipping Clerk works with internal parties to ensure orders are received timely and routed to the respective processing areas.
As a clerk you research issues and discrepancies on incoming or outgoing freight. Maintain records of all incoming freight per Transportation and distribution center guidelines. Match freight documentation to internal documentation. Works with leadership to examine incoming and or outgoing shipments. Input freight documentation into computer. As a receiving or Shipping clerk you collaborate with other departments and support with unloading and processing freight. The receiving or shipping clerk develops and maintains productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, auditors, and others. Always represents the company in a positive and supportive manner.
