Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Web Application Developer to provide high-level application development for the Hydromet and Agrimet programs and applications.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain the Hydromet and Agrimet programs and applications. Programs and applications that support Hydromet and Agrimet include, but are not limited to, the following:
• • WPF forms for data viewing, editing, and input.
  • Entity Framework data access layer.
  • Applications using programming languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Database in PostgreSQL, which may be modernized to Microsoft SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
• Bachelor’s Degree or applicable experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience.
• Possesses strong programming skills using JavaScript to develop software applications and tools. Using built-in widgets, modules, plugins, and default configurations is not adequate.
• Understanding of Hydromet concepts and technologies and software, including principles of cartography, data analysis, and data visualization.
• Fundamental understanding of basic SQL statements and database table design.
• Ability to obtain ITILv4 Foundations certification.
