Estimator

Fast Paced Manufacturing Facility seeking a candidate with a positive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Position Requires Engineering and/or Shop Experience

Successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Understand machining and sheet metal manufacturing processes.

• Ability to read and understand prints and drawings.
• Understanding of geometric tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus.
• Have a working knowledge of production equipment for machining, sheet metal fabrication, and laser cutting.
• Manage estimating queue with multiple projects at one time.
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills – externally to customers and suppliers as well as internally to other departments.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam experience is a plus.
• Have knowledge of 2D & 3D CAD software applications
• Act as primary liaison between the company and OEM Buyers for RFQ’s.
• Prepare work to be estimated by gathering prints, specifications, related documents, and outside service quotations.
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying prints, specifications and related documents.
• Responsible for cost build up for manufactured components.
• Prepare quotation packet for final pricing review.
• Identifies price points and market position.
• Provide quote specific information to the engineering department.
• Responsible for establishing process methods for manufactured components.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
