SUMMARY OF POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITY:

This position will be focused on invoice processing, collections, and reviewing reports for discrepancies and errors. The ideal candidate will have a service-focused approach with internal and external customers, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, cash receipts, credit, collections, lien filing, and progressive billing and payment applications
• Process manual invoices in a timely manner, reviewing for accuracy and completeness
• Collections, including reviewing aging reports for past due invoices and following up with reminders to clients
• Analyze billing discrepancies and interact directly with our customers and internal departments to resolve A/R issues
• Collaborate with the AR Manager and accounting team to ensure a smooth transition of work from field locations to corporate office
• Assist with development of documented procedures and workflows within the department
• Perform ad hoc accounting duties as needed

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and intermediate Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables required)

Preferred Experience:

• Construction or builder experience preferred, specifically, working with ERP’s
• Experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred
• Construction or builder experience preferred, specifically, working with ERP’s

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated ability to efficiently multitask between competing priorities
• Detail oriented, with demonstrated experience in tasks requiring accuracy and diligence
• Professional communication skills, including verbal and written correspondence
• Knowledge of Hyphen BRIX, Hyphen Wallet, Hyphen SupplyPro and Paymode-X preferred

Work Environment: This position will be performed in an office environment

Physical Demands: There will be little to no physical demands expected of this position

Travel Required: There will be little to no travel required for this position beyond commuting to the office.
