As a Radiology Manager, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.
Job Overview:
In consultation with the Radiology Director, assists in planning, directing, organizing controls, staffing and evaluation in all areas. Manages areas of responsibility within the rules and regulations of State and Federal agencies. Shares responsibility for the development, interpretation, application and implementation of departmental policies, budget and strategic plans. Achieves departmental/ organizational objectives and improvement opportunities by providing quality diagnostic services.
Experience:
Five (5) years experience in the Radiology field is required. Three (3) years of supervisory experience required. Must have a working knowledge of budget preparation and control; departmental staffing and disciplinary procedures; marketing, patient and public relations strategies; planning and implementing new programs; and interpreting and managing physician interaction and requests with regard to Radiology.
Education:
Evidence of Radiology Technology training from the United States Military or graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences is required.
Required:
ARRT certification is required, Advanced Modality registry preferred. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire. Illinois State IEMA certification required within six months of hire.
