The holder of this position is a internally and externally recognized dairy technology expert of critical importance to the organization. Strong technical contributor to the development of cross regional strategic plans and initiatives. Keeps current on developments inside and outside the company that are pertinent to the job. Interfaces regularly with senior management and represents the company within the dairy industry and academia. Contributes to creative and innovative solutions to technical challenges and creation of new business opportunities (global & cross regions). How you will contribute Contributes to development of cross regional strategic plans and initiatives, ~ to creative and innovative solutions / technical challenges Leverages external resources and builds internal network across regions and across functions. Directs, guides, plans and conducts independently trials / programs at bench top, pilot plant and also factory scale. Concludes the trials including storage, sample analysis (physical, chemical and sensorial analysis), interpretation of results and effective reporting to guide project and strategic decisions. Follows up with suppliers on specific product or equipment related topics. Delivering expert technical knowledge and input to address business needs, effectively present them to key business partners, collect feedback and advice on next steps. Conducts and guide project reviews. Ensures consistency, technical precision and compliance with methods of work, technical policies and procedures. Recommends improvements within own project area. Conducts relevant legal compliance checks, IP searches and nutritional profiling. Issues research reports and technical documentation. Connects within the dairy industry and academia, represents Mondelez in external research programs. Effective leadership of and contribution in teams. What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: Diploma, Master Degree, ideally PhD in Dairy Engineering and Technology, Food Science, Food Technology or Food Engineering At 5 - 10 years on comparable job as experience Strong technical knowledge in dairy and processing, especially dairy proteins and fats. Experiences and knowledge in filtration technology is an advantage. Has applied expertise in discsiplin to several products. Ideally experiences in plant-based processing and products Strong project management skills Ability to communicate and collaborate efficiency with cross-functional colleagues and leverage internal and external resources as collaborators. Excellent presentation skills Excellent organizational skills, including time management, priority setting, paired with a proactive attitude Proven track record in applied science / research including reading scientific papers, patents etc. Creativity and pro-active approach Team oriented and enthusiastic about working in a global environment.
