ROBOTICS COACH AND TEACHER – DE SMET JESUIT HIGH SCHOOL

De Smet Jesuit High School invites applications for the position of Robotics Coach. This position helps students develop the skills to design and build successful robots, fostering a spirit of team building and professionalism throughout the process, including preparing the robotics team to participate in the FIRST Robotic Challenge (FRC). In addition, this position may teach an appropriate subject area related to the individual’s qualifications and needs of the school. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or above in a related area, experience working with high school age students, and knowledge and experience in robot coding (Java), basic robotic principles and construction (pneumatics, wiring, sensors, electronics, motor controllers). Candidates who are familiar with FRC robotics will be preferred.
