We are seeking a FULL TIME Infant Teacher FOR AGES 6 weeks to 36 months old
Are you interested in working in a childcare center making a difference in children’s lives? De Colores Child Development Center, LLC. Is looking for a patient, loving, compassionate childcare provider who has experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 36 months of age. The De Colores Childcare Provider will help lead developmentally appropriate practices that encourage healthy, physical, social, and emotional development for the children.
Responsibilities:
-Assist teachers in creating age appropriate lessons
-Create a classroom environment of safety and respect
-Perform daily cleaning routines to keep facilities sanitary and safe
-Keep parents and families updated on their student’s daily activities and progress
-Teach, supervise, and scaffold up to 15 children to 1 teacher ratio
-Care for infants and toddlers
Requirements:
-High School Diploma or GED (Transcripts are not allowed)
-1 years of experience working in Child Development or a related field
-Ability to work creatively and flexibly
-Must be able to multitask efficiently
-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
-Must be able to pass TDFPS Background and FBI Checks
-Must be 18 years old and older
-Must have a CPR First Aid Certificate
-Must be able to obtain 30 hours in Childcare trainings within 90 days of hire
-Must be able to sign up for a CDA Class within 90 days of hire to acquire your certificate within 6 months of hire (Child Development Associate Credential)
-Must be able to work Monday thru Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm
-Must have reliable transportation
