Job Description


Business Partner

  • To be a strong partner to the Operations Manager in the day to day operational and performance management support.
  • Be a creative analyst, providing insights in sales, trends, and forecasts using various software platforms.
  • Support as a resource to wholesale partners for pricing and availability inquiries.
  • Help the success of the retail staff by conducting analysis and proposing plans for CRM/CX/CONVERSION using various software platforms.

Store network

  • Prepare business analysis and reports, regular or upon request.
  • Comfortable in monitoring KPI indicated by Ops Manager or Managing Director.
  • Work closely with other departments on all store new openings, closures, relocations, and refurbishment projects.
  • Process owner for warehouse management; along with the reception and disbursement of VM and Merchandising items within.
  • Support Operations Manager in creating presentation applications for CAPEX, Repairs, Summaries, etc. to be provided to UK Home Office.
  • Support the store directors with operational or maintenance issues.
  • Work closely with Ops Mgr and other departments on the implementation of new systems into the stores, to ensure any requirements are fulfilled.
  • Be able to support the entire network (retail, ecom, wholesale) in logistical troubleshooting.

Assisting the Operations Manager in Management Control Systems:

  • To supervise the implementation of all controls in NA (retail procedures).
  • To ensure security environments are well set up, which include security company contracts and arrangements; for both normal business hours and special situations (such events).
  • CCTV & security alarm management.
  • To assist finance & merchandising teams to ensure the safeguarding of inventory. by organizing weekly/monthly/quarterly inventory counts as required.
  • To coordinate the control and the follow-up of the stock discrepancies.
  • Retail manual: help ensure the retail team is aware of and respects all guidelines.
  • To partake in external and internal control audits and manage the subsequent outcome/to-do list.
  • To assist with the submission of budgets, revisions and strat plans, for Sales, CAPEX and FTE.
  • Organization of lease agreements, insurance policies, outsourced service professional contracts.

Other Operations Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • To be willing and able to support directly in store with sales, logistics, and events.
  • To work closely with the Retail & Security teams to ensure educational/training requirements are met.

The base salary for the position is $70-$80K USD annually.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years in luxury retail environments (ideally jewellery)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the operation requirements and retail math in the industry
  • Knowledge of Salesforce a plus and retail systems
  • Working in a cross-functional capacity
