VACANCY NOTICE

TITLE: Substitute Laborer

LOCATION: BOCES wide

REPORTS: Director of Facilities, Maintenance & Transportation

TERMS: As needed

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a self-motivated and task-oriented individual who can follow directions and

perform a variety of manual and/or clerical tasks. Must have a valid NYS driver's license
in good standing. May be asked to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work
independently or as part of a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES/
DUTIES:

This is a jack-of-all trades position that provides support to multiple departments from
basic custodial work (sweep/mop floors, dust, clean furniture, etc), to the print shop
(operative copiers, assist with bindery work, laminating, collating, cutting, sorting), to
delivery of materials (ability to drive, lift), to basic office support (scanning, filing,
etc). This position may help cover the receptionist during absences or breaks. It is an
entry level position with limited prior knowledge required.

SALARY/BENEFITS: $15 per hour

STARTING DATE: As soon as possible.
