Workday Finance Technical

Work location: Providence, RI

Duration: Long Term Contract

The Workday Finance Technical, Integrations and Reporting Lead is responsible for collaborating with and providing consultation to the team implementing Workday HCM, Payroll and Finance. This implementation is migrating Oracle EBS to Workday. As a subject matter expert for Finance, you will foster an overall data culture focusing on the right metric, in the right format, to the right person. Build and maintain a governance structure around our data and reporting; lead the strategy behind the delivery of our data, how, what, when, and who will receive the data to ensure we are delivering actionable insights to drive people and company performance.

Requirements:

• 5 years' experience with the Workday application to include advanced reporting proficiency.
• 5 years Finance data analysis experience, including the ability to understand business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirements.
• 3 years' experience with Workday Prism Analytics.
• Deep Workday Reporting expertise using BIRT, dashboards, embedded analytics, EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio integrations and composite reporting.
• 5 years of experience with Workday security in relation to reporting.
• 4 years of experience within Agile Scrum methodology.
• 5 years of experience in Workday Integrations working on large Workday initiatives.
• 5 years of experience with Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, Calculated fields Workday Extend, CCB, BIRT, EIBs, Core Connectors, Integration System User (ISU), Integration System Security Group (ISSG)
• 5 years of hands-on experience configuring, developing and testing on the Workday platform (Proficient with Integrations, Integration Security, Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, EIBs, BIRT, Calculated Fields, Report Writer, XML, XSLT, SOAP and Rest APIs)
• Experience with JSON, SOAP & REST style web services
• Solid understanding of Workday's business object model and relationships
• Understanding of Workday functional modules so that you can create technology connections (including but not limited to: Finance, HCM, Talent Management, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll)
• Strong analytical skills, proven experience understanding and effectively implementing Workday integrations across all Workday modules. Finance, HCM, Talent Management, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong expertise in project management, business analysis, gathering and documenting requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
• Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position supporting Workday Integrations or Workday Security or Workday Extend and possessing a technical development background.
• Advanced skills in Workday Studio, API(s), XML and XSLT and interaction with SOAP and ReST based web services, EIB, Core Connectors, reporting, use of RaaS, Integration Security, Calculated Fields and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced skills in applying Role-based and User-Based Security and Domains.
• Advanced business and Workday systems analysis skills.
• Intermediate skills in Agile delivery management
• Provide the highest level of customer support via internal ticketing system.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and work effectively and collaboratively with various business partnerships, and to promote effective collaboration between teams.
• Discipline to work with highly confidential information and ability to critically analyze data input/output for accuracy and effectiveness.
