Position: Shipping/Receiving clerk
Status: Direct to Hire/ Full-time
Pay: $18-19/hr
Primary Duty:
Provide consistent, superior work quality in the overall processing of all shipments, receiving documents, and customer inquiries related to the sale of distributed products sold by the company pursuant to Company policies and procedures.
Job Functions:
- Prepare product for shipment to and receives material from customers, vendors, and subsidiaries.
- May be asked to process repairs and outside services.
- Interface daily with Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service Representatives, and Engineering.
- May assist the Warehouse Manager or Shipping/Receiving Clerk in training new personnel.
- Physically, the job demands that the Shipping/Receiving Clerk be on his/her feet constantly and be able to lift materials and containers up to 70 pounds.
- Proper packaging and handling techniques are required to prevent damage to parts and product.
- Assist in inventory count and updating the company's systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or higher
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Basic computer skills (Excel/Word etc.)
- UPS and Federal Express systems experience
- Spanish/Japanese bilingual preferred but not required
