The Associate Counsel will be a commercial and corporate generalist working with the VP, Counsel, AVP of Legal Affairs, and other members of the DCLI Legal/Risk Department to support business operations by participating in a wide range of activities, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, licenses and leases. The position also involves providing legal services and advice regarding ethical business practices, proposal strategies, personnel matters, intellectual property protection, corporate matters, regulatory compliance and mergers & acquisitions. DCLI’s corporate headquarters provides support on a national basis, so experience in multi-state business transactions is desirable.
