DBR, llc is Hiring a Commissioning Agent Near Dallas, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the Commissioning process on assigned projects from design phase through warranty phase
  • Provide instruction to design staff on Commissioning issues and assist in the development of specifications for projects
  • Ensure all services provided are accurate and appropriate and that charges against projects are reasonable
  • Identify and document design/ construction conflicts between trades; building system construction deficiencies and derive recommended solutions from past experiences
  • Review the design/installation/programming and/or troubleshooting of building automation and temperature control systems and lighting control systems
  • Attend project meetings and interface with clients, construction personnel, contractors, and code officials during the Commissioning process
  • Travel to other company locations as required

LICENSING/ CERTIFICATION:

  • Certification(s) from applicable organizations such as ASHRAE, ACG, AABC, AEE, NEBB, etc. are preferred
  • Valid driver license for required travel

TRAVEL:

Ability to travel 20-30% of the time is required. Travel may increase as company expands geographically.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Experience with commercial HVAC and controls systems – including installation or maintenance or testing and balancing (including troubleshooting of operational issues) of building automation temperature control or HVAC systems
  • Excellent research and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for editing/preparation of checklists, test forms and reports
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain flexibility with workload and project schedules
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively meet deadlines
  • Ability to interact well with clients and co-workers, in the field and the office
